Muriel heads up Sales, Marketing and Business Development. She is a nutrition and health coach, a sports nutrition expert and a strength and conditioning coach.
Darren has an MSc in Sports Coaching & Exercise Science (UCD), an MSc in Sports Performance (UL) and an MSc Strength & Conditioning (LIT/Setanta). He currently lectures part-time in WIT. Darren is responsible for product/service development, financial management, operations and special project.
Daniel holds a BA honours degree in exercise and health science from Waterford Institute of Technology and is the head of health screening and operations with the screening team. A qualified personal trainer, Daniel has worked in metabolic prevention programs from Toronto Canada in conjugation with many multinational companies.
Cyril holds a Bachelor of Science degree in strength and conditioning with over 10 years experience in coaching athletes, team's, soldiers and over 20 years of military experience. Cyril’s skills and experience are rooted in training and the pursuit of excellence. His training is scientific-based and focus-driven.
Dr. Ryan Foley earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy and Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Psychology, and Gerontology from Nazareth College of Rochester, New York. Ryan is dedicated to continued education in order to help his clients, and has undergone training in neuro-linguistic programming, and applied functional neurology.
Carmel is a Graduate of University College Cork and holds a BA Arts (Psychology) and a Higher Diploma in Education. She has spent almost three decades in education as a teacher and Guidance Counsellor and is dedicated to education, wellbeing and motivates her clients to engage in and take an active role in their personal, educational and career development.
David has an undergraduate degree in BSc exercise & health studies. He specialises in exercise physiology and is a qualified massage therapist and personal trainer. David competes in CrossFit and triathlons.
Harriet is a Human Biology Graduate from Loughborough University; the world no.1 centre for Health and Exercise studies. As a food, fitness and mental health enthusiast she is keen to combine her previous e-commerce experience with her nutritional expertise to advocate health promotion and improvement. Her recent research explores eating psychology, behaviour change and parental influence on child-feeding patterns.
Owen holds a level 8 Honours Degree in Sports Science from Limerick Institute of Technology. His areas of expertise include nutrition, fundamental movements, long term athlete development and advanced resistance training.
City born, country bred organiser, with a background in sales, business development and recruitment. Lives for being an hour early for appointments, keeping things on schedule and posh stationery.
Tom Donoghue has worked full time in the field of Wellness since 2000. Tom leverages his skills and expertise in personal empowerment with groups and in one to one settings, dealing with health, relationships and personal growth. Formerly a Department Manager with a multinational. He is qualified in Life/Business Coaching, Hypnotherapy, and NLP.
David is a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. He has a BA Exercise and Fitness, a BA Sports Management and Coaching Strength. He is a conditioning Coach and Crossfit Level 1 Trainer and also hols a Uefa B Football Diploma. Davids areas of expertise are in Exercise and Movement.
Sharon Collopy is a Holistic Wellness & Mindfulness Practitioner & Tutor with over 10 years of experience, offering wellness treatment and education, in both the private and corporate wellness sectors. Sharon has facilitated Mindfulness workshops and programs for the HSE and for corporate such as Voxpro in Cork and Firecrest Icon, Limerick & Dublin.
Aaron holds an MSc in Exercise & Nutrition Science, BSc in Sports Science & Health and is a graduate member of Sports and Exercise Nutrition register. He is also a UK Anti-doping Accredited Advisor, PN 1. Aaron works with clients to build an understanding of how they as individuals fit their goals around their lifestyles and their commitments in the areas of nutrition, stress management, training and wellbeing.
Shonagh has a degree in Nutritional Sciences from University College Cork and a Masters in Sports Nutrition, from the world-renowned Liverpool John Moores University. She has worked with various sports teams, including Sale Sharks Rugby, Wexford Senior Hurling Team and has worked with over 300 people on a one to one basis including long-distance runners, cyclists, endurance swimmers, strength athletes and those looking to lose weight and improve their health.
As a type 1 diabetic, Conor knows especially the importance of maintaining a healthy diet, incorporating exercise and maintaining a good sleep pattern. Nutrition is vital and is a key factor in controlling and regulating this condition along with exercise and sleep. Conor has always been interested in nutrition and is a strong believer that nutrition opens many doors in life in terms of keeping us fit, healthy and happy.
An ex software engineer with several national boxing titles, John decided to quit the rat race for a more holistic lifestyle. John is a Reiki Master for over 20 years and is also a qualified Hypnotherapist and Sports Masseur. He has taught Meditation and Mindfulness for almost 10 years, not only in Ireland, but also in UK, US, and Mexico.
Mary holds a Masters in Sports Performance and has a number of years experience coaching sports teams as well as delivering Health & Fitness workshops to students of all levels. Her areas of interest include Movement, Mobility and Biomechanics.
I have worked in the exercise industry as a Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning coach since 2007. I have also practiced as a Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Trainer since 2009. I have also worked as a Sales professional for several Multinational companies in the Medical, and Pharmaceutical industry since 2005.
Geraldine has a degree in Creative Media and Design from Limerick Institute of Technology. She also has qualifications in Business Administration. Geraldine is responsible for the upkeep and promotion of all of HAWIs social media platforms.
Qualified as a general nurse in 1992 from the Cork Voluntary Hospitals. Went on to qualify as a midwife from St Finbarrs/ Erinville Hospitals Cork in 1995. qualified as a neonatal nurse in 2000 at The National Maternity Hospital Dublin. worked as a staff nurse and midwife in South Tipperary General Hospital for 24 yrs.
